The Culverhouse Grant Incubator
Overview
The Culverhouse Grant Incubator is an intensive workshop series designed to build grant-writing skills and support faculty efforts to develop and submit proposals to a funding agency or foundation.
The Grant Incubator comprises a series of monthly workshops on grant-writing topics. Topics include:
- Types of funding, agency, or foundation expectations for proposals
- Budgeting techniques
- Policies
- And more
Peers also provide regular feedback on applications as they are developed.
Purpose & Membership
The Culverhouse Grant Incubator Program is intended to support faculty in their efforts to develop and submit high-quality proposals to grant programs.
Although recipients of Culverhouse Grant Writing Mini-Sabbaticals are expected to participate, the Grant Incubator is open to any faculty member interested in developing some aspect of his or her grant-writing skills.
